Mindset, Habits, Knowing Your Excuses & Remembering Your Why

MINDSET;  When you focus on the fun and rewarding aspects of your coaching lifestyle journey you immediately become more realistic.  Choosing attainable, measurable goals and a positive mindset will enable you to achieve your goals guided by reason, self-reflection and not anger or self loathing.

HABITS;  Are things you can follow with ease day-to-day and become part of your daily routine with little effort, its a little like brushing your teeth, its a daily habit to maintain dental health.  Thats what our healthy habits are all about, you do them with very little thought.  Its programmed and wired into your brain.

As part of all Fit With Lainey Plans you will follow 5 core daily habits!  Nutrition Targets, Hitting a Steps, Water, 5-A-Day and ensuring at least 80% of your daily diet is from good quality whole foods!

REMEMBER YOUR WHY;  Every journey starts with a purpose; your purpose is what will keep you going. Anytime you feel demotivated and don't want to follow your habits "Remember Your Why".  Why you signed up to online coaching, why you wanted to improve your lifestyle, why you want to change, why you want to feel healthier, fitter and stronger.  For example "Improving my health for life longevity to see my kids grow old and become a role model for them"

KNOW YOUR EXCUSES;  We make excuses every day, the lie which makes you skip that workout:

 

"My Workload is too high",

 

"My  child is ill",

"That ironing pile is mounting up".

This is all negative language, and you need to turn your excuses into positive language. 

 

"I can meet that work deadline but I will have to get up 30 minutes earlier tomorrow morning to do my workout, and I know I will feel better for doing it.  Working out makes me feel better which in turn will help me think better and be more productive during the day to finish that report"

"Whilst my daughter is sleeping, I will fit in a 20-minute workout"

"The ironing pile doesn't need to be done all at once, I will do a 20-minute workout and 10-minutes of ironing"
